Nordstrom now has a wonderful bridal boutique on the second floor! I dropped off this arrangement last week to celebrate their opening. Peonies….sigh….maybe the best flower ever. These gorgeous pink beauties are from Chile. There is hope for all you winter brides out there!

Not only is Aimee absolutely GORGEOUS, but she is the sweetest girl ever. She’s the type of bride that offers to pick up Starbucks before coming down to the studio to drop something off, and she even offered us some of the munchies she and the bridesmaids were snacking on during beauty prep! It’s nice to come across someone so thoughtful. Aimee just loved the girly, fluffy, bountiful nature of hydrangea so we used them en masse everywhere. Lani and I were lucky enough to find these amazing carved stands a few years back that were used for half of the centerpieces. The silver patina looks nice against the crisp white and they complimented the Garden Court Hotel perfectly. Ashley Maxwell did a great job, as usual, of making Aimee and her maids looks beautiful in every shot. And Doug isn’t too bad either

A lovely wedding of gold and pink and Hotel Valencia in Santana Row. Helen and Dave are so cute! Todd Parons Photography really captured their spirit. For the florals, we pulled many blooms in all shades of deep pink, creams, and greens. For the girls bouquets, we got to use our favorite – garden roses!
